Automating BuildByBit tickets for Minecraft addon creators

Connect BuildByBit to Arnvio, train an AI agent on your Minecraft/Roblox/Hytale addon docs, and get accurate draft replies for every ticket — you review and send.

BuildByBit is where a huge slice of the Minecraft, Roblox, and Hytale creator economy lives — and where a huge slice of your evenings disappear into ticket replies. This guide covers wiring up Arnvio so those replies write themselves — and then land in your review queue for you to send.

Arnvio doesn't take your customers away from you. It reads every incoming BuildByBit ticket, pulls the answer out of your own documentation, and hands you a ready-to-send draft. You skim it, tweak if needed, hit send from BuildByBit. The customer still hears from you.

Why BuildByBit tickets eat so much time

Unlike Pivity's tightly-scoped GMod/Rust ecosystem, BuildByBit spans multiple games with wildly different install processes. A Minecraft plugin needs a plugins/ folder drop. A Roblox model needs Studio import. Hytale is still evolving. Customers routinely ask install questions for the wrong game.

An AI agent trained specifically on your products cuts through that noise: it knows what game each of your listings targets, what the install steps actually are, and what the common misconfigurations look like — and it uses that knowledge to draft a reply for you in seconds.

    Setup

    1. Connect BuildByBit

Dashboard → Integrations → BuildByBit. You'll need your BuildByBit API token (BuildByBit → Account Settings → API). Arnvio stores it encrypted and it's account-scoped — the agent sees tickets across every product you've linked.

    2. Import your products

Dashboard → Products → Import from BuildByBit. Select the products the agent should help with. If you sell across Minecraft and Roblox, consider two separate agents — one per game family. The training data ends up cleaner and the drafts more accurate.

    3. Train on what customers actually ask

Open a random handful of your last 20 BuildByBit tickets. Notice the pattern:

    • "How do I install this on [server host]?"
    • "Getting NoClassDefFoundError on startup"
    • "How do I configure X?"
    • "Does this work with plugin Y?"

Those are your first four training entries. Add the answer you'd give, in your voice. Then upload your existing README, wiki page, or plugin documentation as a file (1MB per product).

    4. Import your tickets and draft your first replies

Go to Dashboard → Tickets → BuildByBit. Arnvio pulls your open tickets on a schedule and lists them alongside the product they were opened on — the customer's message, the product context, the full conversation history, all consolidated with your other stores.

Open any ticket and click Generate AI reply. The linked agent reads the ticket, searches your training data, and produces a draft in the reply box within a few seconds.

    You then:

    1. Read it. Most of the time it's send-ready.
    2. Edit if needed. Reword a sentence, add a personal note, drop something that doesn't apply.
    3. Send from BuildByBit. The reply goes out under your account — the customer only ever sees you.

Nothing is ever sent automatically. Every reply passes through you.

    Tuning for Minecraft specifics

Two things matter more for Minecraft than any other game:

Version compatibility. Customers ask "does this work on 1.20.4?" constantly. Bake a version-compatibility matrix into your training data as a plain-text table. The agent will read it correctly and cite the right row in its draft.

Server-side vs client-side. Every Minecraft creator has watched an AI response tell a customer to install a server plugin in their mods/ folder. Explicitly state in your training data: "This is a [Bukkit/Paper/Spigot/Fabric/Forge] plugin. Install to the server's plugins/ folder only." The agent will repeat that verbatim in the draft.

    What to expect

Realistic numbers once training is dialed in:

    • Roughly 70% of drafts are send-ready with no edits — the agent found the answer in your docs and phrased it well
    • Another 20% need a small tweak — a version number, a caveat, a personal touch
    • The remaining 10% are the tickets that genuinely need your brain — bugs, feature requests, refund questions. Exactly what you should be spending time on

Most creators handling 50+ tickets/week see their manual reply time drop from 8–10 hours to 1–2. You still own every customer relationship — you just stop retyping the same install instructions every night.

    Common gotchas

    • Drafts reference features that don't exist. Fix: tighten your training data. Remove anything vague or aspirational — the agent will confidently repeat whatever you feed it.
    • Tone feels off-brand. Fix: adjust the agent's voice in Agent → Personality, or just edit the draft. A few edits and the agent tends to match your style over time.
    • Wrong game instructions. If a Minecraft draft mentions Roblox Studio (or vice versa), split into two agents by game family — one shared agent across very different products blurs the training data.

BuildByBit customers often overlap with GmodStore customers (both niches value creator-supported addons). Our comparison guide covers how to think about running support across marketplaces.
